Emerson Olson, Violinist
Hailing from Colorado Springs, Emerson is an interdisciplinary musician with experience in classical, experimental, folk, jazz, and indie violin. He's performed with the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs, the Pikes Peak Philharmonic, the UCCS Symphony, and other Colorado-based orchestras. He has recorded with Baylee Parks, Sara Van Hecke, Dead Boyfriend, and has taught violin at the Rocky Mountain Academy of Music, Colorado Springs Music School, and Trala School of Music. Emerson holds degrees in music performance and anthropology and is currently pursuing a degree in performance studies at New York University.
Juan Valdes, Guitarist
Juan Valdes, a guitarist from Queretaro, Mexico, is a multi-talented artist. An instructor at School of Rock and an audio engineer at the Ent Center for the Arts, Juan brings his expertise to both teaching and sound design. His work is influenced by Animals as Leaders, The Aristocrats, Queen, and Hiatus Kaiyote. His experience in jazz, pop, funk, bebop, and rock pushes his songwriting into new dimensions. He has worked with Colin McAllister, Sunniva Brynnel, Janet Feder, and multiple other artists. Juan Valdes captivates audiences and leaves a lasting impression in the music industry.
